Updating..

Sorry I haven't updated in a few days. I've had stuff to do, and places to go, and things to study. I will definitely, if not before next Thursday, have more stuff up by next Friday. But I'm going to get my permit next Thursday and I still haven't studied! So I really gotta start, and going to the fair everynight hasn't helped. So yeah, just so you guys know, I will update as soon as I can.

*UPDATE*
So, I got my permit today :D I didn't miss any questions. I'm excited to start driving. Also, I looked at the site on my mom's work computer and I realize, the site looks the best on my computer. I think the screen is like 1024x768. So if your computer's screen is bigger than that, it probably doesn't look exactly right. Sorry, I'll work on that sometime. Oh, I'm still trying to fix my portfolio too. I use image mapping in GIMP and everytime I get a new group of images to make into the image map, when I put it on the site, the links get all messed up and yeah.. so I'm gonna try to fix that. I'm also gonna update pretty soon too...AND if you really wanna know, everything with my new boyfriend is going good. He wants to do like a double date type thing with my friend and her boyfriend because we're all friends, so I'm looking forward to that. Life's pretty good right now :] lol.

Ok, so I thought I'd just blog about something before I leave to go to my physical. I'm 17 and just now getting around to getting my permit! haha, I guess I was just never that motivated before. Apparently I'm really bad with directions. My own parents joke that I could get lost pulling out of the driveway; but visual, auditory, and "hands-on" learning for me, are all pretty close, so I think actually driving will help me remember how to get to places. Especially since most of the time when I'm in the car, I don't really pay attention to that. I listen to my mp3 player, and am lost in my own little world the whole time. But, that reminds me, I just heard a really good song this morning on either MTV or VH1, I can't remember which. Either way, it made me stop what I was doing to watch it, so I thought I'd show you.



*UPDATE*
So, you guys, I left home today to get a physical, and then after ending up going to the fair, I came back with a BOYFRIEND. :D No, it isn't a carny or something. It's the guy I've already mentioned before. He was there and we ended up getting together and, I know it might be lame, with the age I am, but I also had my first kiss! It was all romantic with the fair lights and stuff. lol :D

I haven't been blogging about anything. I have been trying to update though. I got a new layout up. The banner was supposed to be temporary while I came up with something better, but I kinda liked it. I do like the layout, other than the fact that it's like INSANELY pink! It kind of bugs me. haha! So I guess that's about it. Not much to report, other than that the one day I have my phone off, I get a text from my friend who tells me that the guy I kinda like admitted that he liked me. :D So exciting. lol, I have troubles with romantic type stuff mostly because, I don't ask the guy out, I'm like too shy, so I don't really get the guys I want. I always get the weirdos asking me (like I swear, I'm a creep magnet or something! Freaks me out) so this is good that finally one of my first picks admitted he liked me. Ahhhh so excited :]

I'm going to get more tutorials up. Ones that actually have to do with editing an image. I'm also going to add some more resources, and things I've worked on to my portfolio. I'm excited! :] Also, just randomly, I thought I'd tell you real quick that I am probably half deaf or something because seriously a day can't go by where I don't hear somebody wrong. It makes my life more interesting though because I hear some of the funniest things! Haha, yesturday I was talking to my sister and she was saying something about brushing your teeth with a certain kind of toothpaste, and how it helps protect your teeth against food and whatever longer. All I heard was, "If you brush your teeth for an hour, you will live longer." I told her what I thought she said and we started laughing. It was great....Yes, I am amused very easily :D

New Pages!

So, I got a Resources page up, AND a Tutorials page AND music page. I have some Photoshop/GIMP brushes on the resources page, and one pretty basic tutorial up. It's just the start though! :D

Graphics Tablet :D

I'm really excited right now because I finally have a graphics tablet!! :D I can draw with that now instead of trying to draw with the computer mouse; and I'm anxious to use it. -In other news....there isn't any. It's been pretty boring around here. Oh, but I do think I'm going to try making a resources page on here. I'll put up some like brushes I'll make and who knows what else... Check out my signature with the new tablet :)

New Blog!

Okay, so I finally got this blog up. The layout is pretty boring for now, but it'll work for awhile while I figure Blogger out. I've never had a blog before, unless you count Myspace, so this is all pretty new. I have attempted to make my own site before, but that didn't go over too well so I just never finished it. If you read my "About Me" you see that I want to be a Graphic Designer and that's the purpose of creating the blog. I want to make like an online portfolio, so you'll see a mix of old things and new and just plain experiments. Maybe when I have to send a portfolio to a college that wants to see my work I'll pick the best ones out of what I have up. Also, I might start to do some tutorials of what I know, or of what people want to see. I hope this goes well. I guess now I should say something "witty" like, "Let the blogging begin!" LOL.
